On 15 May 2019, key decision-makers in the field of sport met at the ENSO Ice Channel to coordinate for next year’s World Championships in Altenberg. Participants were representatives of Infront (marketers of media and sponsorship rights for sporting events), the Bobsleigh and Sledge Association for Germany (BSD), the world association IBSF and the wintersport Altenberg (Osterzgebirge) GmbH.

After consultations on topics such as construction work and beautification on the railway, extension of sailing constructions and light installations, it was also about grandstands for the spectators, the equipment of the VIP area, the catering offer and official events such as the Opening ceremony. Further votes were held on the placement of sponsorship walls, photographer positions and press work. Despite 0 degrees and snow rain, a railway ascent took place at the end.
